NordHuys is a cosy coastal holiday home in Zeewind II, made for enjoying time together with family and four-legged companions.

Whether you are starting the day with a family breakfast, heading out for a seaside walk or coming home after a day at the coast, NordHuys is a place to slow down, relax and feel at home. Inside, you will find a warm and comfortable space to gather, eat, play and simply enjoy being together. Outside, the private, fully enclosed garden and terrace offer a safe and peaceful place for children and dogs to play while the grown-ups unwind.

NordHuys is located within Zeewind II Holiday Park. The playground, tennis courts and grass sports court are free and available to guests at all times. Free pool access during summer season.

A shared heated outdoor pool is available seasonally for guests staying in the holiday park.

Open from 15 June to 15 September, daily from 11:30 to 18:00.

Access to the pool requires a wristband. Up to six wristbands are made available to guests of NordHuys for the duration of their stay.

Practical information for your stay

Here you will find the main practical details for planning your stay at NordHuys.

Arrival & access
Parking One private parking space is available beside the house.
Check-in time Self check-in is available from 3:00 PM via key box, allowing you to arrive at your convenience any time after 3:00 PM.
Check-out time Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Key and access instructions A key box is located at the front door and contains the key to the house. The access code for the key box is provided in your booking details.
Bed linen & towels
Booking option Bed linen and towels can be selected when booking your stay.
Costs, cleaning & deposit
Cleaning Final cleaning is included in the price. We ask that you leave the house tidy, wash all dishes and remove any pet waste from the house and garden. Please take all rubbish to the designated waste shed. Used bed linen may be left in the house.
Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €200 applies per stay and is payable with the balance. Following a check of the property, the deposit will normally be refunded within 14 days after check-out.

If any damage has occurred, the reasonable cost of repair or replacement may be deducted from the deposit. In the event of smoking inside the house or theft of NordHuys property, the full deposit may be retained. Where the cost of damage exceeds the deposit, the additional amount may also be charged.

Tourist tax No additional tourist tax applies.
Pets & house rules
Dogs welcome Up to two dogs are welcome per stay. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the park. Owners are kindly asked to remove dog waste from the garden and park and place it in a waste bin.
Strictly non-smoking inside the house Smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited. A violation forfeits the security deposit, without prejudice to additional cleaning costs. Smoking outside is permitted in line with the park rules.
Parties & events Organising parties or events in the house or park is not permitted without prior approval and may result in early termination of your stay.
Accessibility
Ground floor & first floor The main living areas, kitchen, bathroom, toilets and one bedroom with a double bed are all located on the ground floor and are easily accessible. The double bed is relatively high, making it easier to get in and out of. There is a small step to access the garden. Two additional bedrooms are located on the first floor and are accessible by stairs.

  • Getting here
    By car

    NordHuys is located in holiday park Zeewind II, Klemskerkestraat 26, 8450 Bredene.

    When approaching Bredene, follow the coastal road towards Bredene / De Haan. At the Visserskapel, turn into Klemskerkestraat and follow the signs for Zeewind II.

    For navigation, we recommend entering “Zeewind II, Klemskerkestraat 26, Bredene” as your destination. A private parking space is available at the house. More detailed directions within the holiday park are provided with your booking information.

    By public transport

    Take the train to Oostende railway station. The Kusttram departs directly from the station: take the tram towards Knokke and get off at Bredene Renbaan.

    From Bredene Renbaan, NordHuys is approximately 15–20 minutes on foot. Walk towards the Visserskapel and continue into Klemskerkestraat to reach holiday park Zeewind II.

    The Kusttram also makes it easy to explore the Belgian coast during your stay, with direct connections to Oostende, De Haan, Blankenberge, Knokke and other coastal towns.

    We recommend checking the De Lijn route planner or app shortly before travelling for the latest tram times.

  • Parking One private parking space reserved for NordHuys guests is available right outside the house. Additional public parking is available within walking distance.
  • Beach About 1.5km from the beach. Easily accessible on foot or by bike.
  • Groceries & daily shopping
